I'm saddened the Republicans won the House.

Now, as it already was before, it will be even HARDER for the democrats to pass the legislation they want....culminating in a failed Obama presidency.

At least he passed healthcare...

What does everyone else think? Feel free to post comments letting me know. I've been getting a lot of hits lately so I'm pretty happy about that, why don't you guys just weigh in on your thoughts and we can comment back and forth if we get enough people involved.

I know this is a blog but....I'm kinda tolerant like that...haha.

I'd doubt it but it'd mean an easy victory for the Dems...

I personally think she's a disgrace to American politics...the fact that she even got on
the ticket was amazing let alone disgraceful.

I mean, seriously. Governor of Alaska, a beauty pageant queen, seriously? As my boi Matt
Damon said it best, it's like a bad disney film...

Independents

Is it just me or do independents seem like agnostics?

They won't take a side due to the conflict, or due to the "animosity" that pursues each party.

I think you NEED to take a side in politics. I think theres no other way. If you don't take a side,
what are your beliefs? You can't be middle of the road on everything..there's just no way that's
having an opinion in life. you have to decide. repeat. you HAVE to decide.

Sure you can not vote along party lines, and be independent on some things, but not everything.

NOT everything.

Anyone know if that preacher down in Gainseville is still going through with that Qur'an burning?

It's supposed to incite a lot of fury, someone has already died in the Middle East protesting it...

9/11

So 9/11 is approaching rapidly.

I think the whole Koran burning thing is disgusting, yet I see the anger that people have
and why they're doing it.

I support it, as it is freedom of speech, yet the negativity it's going to cause won't do anything
for Islamic American relations.

And yes, the fact that they're unveiling the mosque ON 9/11 is absolutely horrendous.

Sure it's a freedom of religion ISSUE, but the date/planning could have been MUCH better...

Will be surprised if it doesn't get vandalized every single day, etc etc burned down, etc etc
